This hotel is set in lovely countryside and is an ideal place to base yourself for biking around the towns and villages in this quaint part of the Netherlands. Friendly and very helpful staff, nice on site restaurant which serves a fine dining experience. Good size indoor pool but very limited gym facilities. Very comfortable bed in a very good sized room. On the higher end of the price scale

Great dinners (4 & 5 course) variety and experience, fantastic SPA, good location, fine wine selection. The breakfast room + egg station (poor prepared, not nice, very oily eggs) not up to par to premium pricing, skip the breakfast! Need to up the service game to get 5 stars, paying premium expect premium service, sometime just waiting/looking for staff to order something. Pet charge forgotten and asked afterwards bit silly, if you forget your loss.

Two weeks ago I booked a day spa for two for my mother's birthday. The location, swimming pool and surroundings are beautiful, however I definitely don't recommend the manicure section. They pretty much butchered my and my mother's nails. When I gave this feedback (serious scratches on our nails that hadn't been buffed and uneven, rough filing) at the reception as well through email (the nail polish already pealing off within 24 hours), there was no form of compensation. Even my email was ignored. The rest of the wellness sessions (a massage, body wrapping and facial) were pretty average. Also a note: the lunch (a salad) doesn't include the drinks so don't be surprised if you get an extra bill at the end of the day next to the 150 euro p.p. fee you already have paid. We weren’t told this when they asked us what drink we would like to have with our salad.

Our stay here was a great disappointment. This was our third time and things didn’t get better but severely worse. The view from our rooms was stunning! But this having said: - Our room (nr. 25) was big but totally outdated. Being in the bed, you have to watch out not to hurt your head because they put the reading lamps very low and right above it. Especially the bathroom was a disaster. You couldn’t take a shower without wetting the floor completely. Sink and bath are worn out. It took 5 minutes before the water became warm. There are no fly screens for any window or door so, being in the countryside, you will have insectvisitors within minutes. The other rooms (we had two more rooms) were renovated but not the bathrooms!!!! The room price for two persons was 411,- including breakfast and a so called ‘gastronomic surprise dinner’. - The dinner was not good. Dishes were to simple and meat was ‘not a point’. Included was a glas of cheap champagne and a cup of coffee pretending to be espresso. All well but for these prices? Wine that we could order by the glass, was average and water was expensive, because it was not mineral bottled water. Butter came after we asked for it, and a second bread serving never came. - This was our last time here. - A recommendation though if you have to much money and not a lot of taste.

We stayed several times in this lovely hotel in a beautiful and modern room with a spacious bath room. I really enjoyed the infinity pool on the upper level of the top floor, the water beds and the view over the hills. Also, we had a great dinner experience during our stay at heir restaurant.
