We loved it here, took the overnight ferry from Hull, the roads in Holland seemed so much easier to navigate it was such an easy drive. Centre parcs staff were happy and friendly, the events were all very well organised. My only gripe is that the wave machine wasn't working in the pool which would have made swimming a bit easier to enjoy ( there's only so many times you can ride the rapids😄), no communication was sent about this as far as I can tell. The accommodation was a bit dated but was clean and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend and would definitely travel back in the future.

We’ve been coming to Center Parcs De Kempervennen for years – and there’s a good reason why we keep returning! This place offers an amazing diversity of activities that truly has something for everyone in the family. From the fantastic Aqua Mundo with its slides and tropical atmosphere, to the indoor ski hall where you can hit the slopes year-round – it’s impossible to get bored. Our kids love visiting the animal farm, and we always enjoy the wide range of water activities on the lake as well as the many sports options available throughout the park. The balance of nature, fun, and relaxation is just perfect. Whether we’re here for a weekend or a longer stay, it always feels like the ideal getaway. We highly recommend it to families looking for variety, adventure, and great memories – this place never disappoints!

We went for 4 days with our 5yr old son and stayed in one of the house boats. There were so many activities to do you can pay for and also lots of free activities. You can feed the animals and just pop in to pet the sheep, goats, donkeys and pigs at any time. The activity area blew my son's mind and the swimming pool was amazing. We went halfboard and the food at the restaurant was brilliant with loads of variety for adults and children.

As a family we have been to De Vossemeren & De Kempervennen many times. I have also been several times previous to this. This year on the way I was reading some reviews about the cleanliness of De Kempervennen, which I found hard to believe as it has always been clean and we have never had any complaints. However when we arrived (we had 2 villas side by side), I found that what was written in the reviews I had read was true. In one villa the dishwasher needed emptying - not the end of the world. In both villas, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There were crisps & other crumbs under the table & seats with other crumbs/dirt around the seating area. In the other it was so dirty that my daughter had to vacuum before they could move any of their stuff in. The floor in ours was filthy. I happened to walk around the same day with no shoes on but needed to wash my feet in the shower afterwards as they were so dirty. The villas were very dusty. Throughout the whole week, the dishwasher did not wash the dishes well. Most times we had to rewash ourselves as there was food remaining on the dishes post intensive wash. We had taken our own dishwasher tablets & a couple had also been supplied by CP. What was not supplied was rinse aid or dishwasher salt & neither did we take these with us. I would think that these two items are for maintaining the effectiveness of the dishwasher. I did wash out the filter, which was filthy but still the dishwasher did not wash properly. The glasses which were already on the shelves when we arrived had to be washed before use due to the dried on dirt. The plug hole in the shower was clogged with old, grey looking, slimey, long hair which I duly removed from the waste pipe. You could tell it had been there for some time. I thought about raising the issues with Customer Relations the following day but the time had passed and there was nothing they could have done. All that said, the rest of the villa was ok. We had a great time. The park was very busy but it was the 2nd week of the Easter holidays. We were able to book onto the required activities. The only other qualm I would have is that there were no manual or mountain bikes left. Usually we book them a couple of weeks before we go but they were all booked out at this time. I even called CP as I thought the website was incorrect. There were only electric bikes left which of course were more expensive.

Had a great 5-night stay during Easter holidays, enhanced by some good weather. Wasn’t over-crowded at all and facilities including the indoor ski facility, aqua dome, outdoor climbing and kids’ activity warehouse (with soft play climbing challenges) were very good. Scenery is beautiful and service was good. Food and drink quality and prices could be better but otherwise not a lot wrong and would happily recommend to friends and family. Day trip to Amsterdam wasn’t too far, but travel to the Eurotunnel was lengthy mainly due to disruption around Antwerp.
