I found myself in a tough spot with a flat tire in the rain outside of my usual neighborhood. I wasn’t prepared, and I knew my tire needed replacing anyway. Fortunately, I found de Kleine Fietshoek. I was instantly helped, and it took almost no time at all. Osman was very helpful and accommodating of my needs. Highly recommend it!

I had a flat tyre while stopping by in Oude Piljsweerd area. Surprisingly this ship didn't show up when I googled for bike repair shop (in English - that's probably why) but as I was dragging my bike to another shop, I saw this corner shop and pulled my mobile to check the reviews. "Turbo" took it in and within next 7 minutes, the inner tube was fixed and other nuts-bolts were tightened. I appreciate that he also have some advice without pushing to sell anything. He's very friendly and he is great at what he does.

I generally don't write reviews, but this experience made me write something I saw today. I went to shop to purchase something small but indeed very needed for a bike. It was not a small money purchase rather good amount. The issue is the behaviour of the shop guy. First time coming to utrecht and we asked could you help us to plug this on our bike. And to my surprise the reaction was "you are asking for free service." And that was in very rude tone. Dude we just purchased that item from you, we paid and we asked to help us with the same thing we just purchased. A min later he said you have instructions how to install. Which is ok we are fine with it. But there is a way to guide somebody who come to your shop. We have been two different countries which are bike friendly and to bike shops, never somebody behaved in such a way as if we owe them something. Every bike shop owner has been friendly and gratitude towards us for continuing biking as a passion. But this shop owner literally closed the door on our face as we stepped out. Dude you are in bike capital country behave well with your customers.

Repair was ok but expensive. They tried to sell me an even more expensive new tire for a rediculous price. But the worst: they may be closed at a seemingly random day. So when you cycle over half an hour to pick up your bike it may be in vain because they are not there and won't pick up their phone, even though the owner says they should be open. Afterwards you get no explanation or apology whatsoever. Overall huge waste of time and money.
