  My recent stay at Sunset Shores Hotel was an absolute disaster, and I strongly advise against booking a room here. From start to finish, it was clear that guest comfort is the last thing on their minds. The first night was miserable due to a non-functional AC. Housekeeping clearly hadn't done their job, and I was left to swelter until a kind young lady brought a fan. While I appreciate her assistance, it shouldn't have been necessary in the first place. The second day brought a new level of torment: relentless construction noise that lasted all night. While I understand that renovations happen, it's completely unacceptable for them to continue past reasonable hours and into the late night. By 11 PM, the noise was unbearable, making sleep impossible. When I called the front desk, the man's dismissive response was, "Well, ma'am, they will finish soon in 15 mins," before even offering an apology. As a business traveler, I've stayed in numerous hotels across the Caribbean, and I've never encountered a situation where guest discomfort due to overnight construction was tolerated. This experience unequivocally demonstrates that Sunset Shores Hotel has a blatant disregard for its guests. Save yourself the frustration and discomfort. Do not stay at Sunset Shores Hotel if you value a good night's sleep.

  Great location, rooms were clean and housekeeping was done everyday. The restaurant can do with some improvements the food was bland. Comfortable enough for a short stay, they are renovation so I look forward to seeing the improvements.

  Wonderful, clean hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is a 20 minute drive from the airport and 10 minutes from Kingstown. The front desk can arrange taxis and give complimentary beach towels if needed. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning our room daily. The hotel is steps from the beach which is great for snorkeling, tanning, and lounging. There's a boardwalk that you can walk on to access different restaurants along the beach. Would definitely come back to stay in the future.

  Not bad but fairly budget and incredibly slow service. They have a large bird trapped in a tiny cage that's been imprisoned there for over 15 years! The rooms are pretty good, but we got 1 bottle of water to last 8 days! The tea, coffee and milk were NEVER replenished. We had 4 teabags for 8 days. The worst thing about this hotel is the restaurant. The portions are very small and on most occasions we had to wait over an hour to get our food after ordering. They also have very very few Caribbean options. Everything else is western/american. The staff are very friendly. The pool is well kept. The beach is OK. The water is incredibly clear and very warm. The location is pretty bad. You can't walk to anywhere. We enjoyed our stay but felt it was expensive for what we got. The drinks were very expensive. Even just a 3 minute walk down the beach to a tourist bar the drinks are cheaper.

  The Staff were lovely. Chimmy, Angelique, John in Security and all other Staff were so friendly and helpful. Our main driver Desmond was great and would ask for him again. The Hotel was lovely and in a great spot for the beach and a short walk to other bars.
