  Campanile Hotel Gouda offers a decent and comfortable base for visiting the city. The rooms are clean and provide the necessary amenities. While the decor might be a bit dated in some areas, the overall service and comfort were good. The location is convenient enough, especially if you're arriving by car. It's a reliable option, especially considering the price point. Staff also speak English well and very helpfull.

  Please note: by American standards this is not a hotel. This is a motel. The doors to the rooms are on the outside. Other than that, this place is nice to stay for short lengths of time. The rooms are very small with no microwave or fridge. The bathroom was clean and had the basics. The beds were comfortable. The lounge and bar were nice. All of the staff was super friendly and spoke English and German in addition to dutch. If I could make one suggestion, please include a few more towels in the room. Other than that, it's a basic place to sleep with a safe parking lot that requires an entry code at night. It's also about 45 mins from schipol and not too expensive.

  as for a 3 star hotel it's generally ok. but the minus is that no one informed us that there was no elevator and we got a room on the 3rd floor. think that for example a person with mobility disabilities arrives, or a woman with a child in a baby stroller __ to the owner: first of all, when booking by email, no one informed us that the elevator was not working, secondly, despite the fact that we had luggage and a stroller with a child, we were given a room on the 3rd floor and no one offered us anything else. The receptionist only said that the elevator was not working and did not offer anything. so please do not deviate from the truth
