  Pros: • Great location by the riverbank. • Spacious rooms at a reasonable price. • Train and bus stations are within walking distance. • A café and a small SPAR (grocery store) is just 10 metres away if you want to buy your own food. • Few other restaurants and cafes just outside. . Windmills (tourists attraction) can be easily reached on foot. • Daily room cleaning service is provided. . WiFi provided. . Hot showers. . Mini fridge and safe locker provided however there wasn’t any bottle water. . Rooms clean and tidy. Cons: • No reception on-site. • Bar and restaurant open late (11AM) and close early (7PM). • All communication is via email, which can make customer service frustrating if not handled ahead of time (recommended to online check in 3 days in advance). • Digital check-in is required, and access to your room depends on receiving your digital key in advance. Important Tip for Guests: Check in online as soon as you’re allowed—up to 3 days in advance. If you don’t complete this in time, you may not be able to access your room, which could be quite disappointing. In my case, I was lucky to get through to a helpful staff member by calling the number posted at the door, who remotely opened my room for me. Others may not be so lucky. If you manage the check-in process early, you’ll likely enjoy your stay and would definitely recommend this place.

  Big, clean room, i ve booked it for the view. We slept very well. 5 minutes frim the Zaanse Schans windmiils and village. A big minus is the absence of any breakfast at the hotel. Their restaurant opens late and closes at 18( except 2 ucrainians who were inside and listened loud music)…almost no place to eat around. Only an indian restaurant, very good but pretty expensive, a bistro further away with almost decent food and another one with a no friendly owner. Warm bakery at 7.30 at Spar across the street.

  I stand here and it was “okay”… the room was niece enuff and bed comforting, but some thins not work and was a stane on my cover Bartroom door look not work, so cudnt shout it. TV “remote” not workat first. Stuff were not very helping and funky hard to wok, normal “CARD” better

  We had a reservation for 25th April 2025. We did not receive any check in details. We tried contacting them multiple times through calls and emails. But no response. Also No reception at the hotel premises, we had to wait out in the cold. No help at all. It was utterly disappointing and pathetic. We had last minute look out for another place to stay. Still not received any intimation about refund. Fraud hotel. Do not book here. Will also raise complaint against them.

  The Annex is very ugly, there are other hotels around Zaanse which costs more or less the same and it is way better. The bedroom with river view was nice but it was very noisy in the morning we woke up with the noise.
