  My visit to Irodion in Zaandam was a fantastic dive into Greek hospitality! Right from the start, we were greeted with complimentary welcoming drinks—a delightful surprise that instantly made us feel valued. The food was a highlight, with the meats, especially the tender souvlaki and flavorful gyros, bursting with authentic Mediterranean flair. Every dish we tried was fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully prepared, reflecting the pure ingredients the restaurant prides itself on. The cozy, lively atmosphere, perfect for both intimate dinners and group gatherings, added to the charm. The staff were warm and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Irodion is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Greek cuisine in a welcoming setting.

  Great Greek restaurant near Amsterdam… and in the heart of Zaandam . The food was excellent and the prices was reasonable. The staff was really helpful and friendly . And one of the best points was the decoration. Finally one of the best Greek restaurants without blue and white colours and Greek flags around.. I’ll be back soon.

  one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. We were seated in a room not far from the toilet area and the smell was absolutely revolting . Sadly, the food was just as awful. The food tasted like it had been reheated for days, the meat had the texture of rubbery plastic cheap quality. Nothing was fresh, nothing had flavor. It was like eating a microwaved meal from the bargain bin. Avoid this place at all costs. Never again.

  Have visited the restaurant many rimes and its always been great. However today I ordered calamari and chicken gyros asked for delivery between 7 and 7:30pm it arrived at 6:15pm. The calamari is absolutely awful i had to put it in the bin. Was not what I expected from a dish ive had many times in the restaurant before. Such a shame. I never leave reviews but felt something needed to be said!
