  A ten minute stroll from the train station. They just started renting bicycles so their stock is new. Staff are very friendly and helpful instructing how to use the bikes and locks. We took them up for the afternoon to see the windmills. It was a gorgeous day made even more so by the ease of renting the bicycles. Thank you Zaandam Citybikes!

  Horrible experience. Horrible service. Not an honest business. Do not recommend to anyone. Bought a 2nd-hand scooter there. On day 1, started noticing issues and engine light blinking. I brought it it back, got repaired. Followed 5 other repairs in the following 5 weeks. They tried to blame me for putting the wrong type of gas in it. While in fact I had not even had the time to tank once. I took it to another shop who noticed the km-counter had been tampered with, as a damage was visible on the number 6. Eventually they agreed to take the scooter back and give my money back but even then, they charged me for a damage they said I caused on the handbrake handle. They do not do business with honesty, they blame their customers, and they refuse to find amicable arrangement. Do yourself a favor and never step foot there.

  My scooter front wheel had a screw, I called in asking for the repair price, and when I can bring it. I was happy with the friendliness of the staff on the phone and even surprised that I could bring the scooter straight away to have the wheel repaired and for free!! Great service! Recommend!

  Last April 2nd I left a rental bicycle from Amsterdam to be repaired since the tire got a flat tire arriving in Zaandam. After 2 hours I picked up the bike to return to Amsterdam with my family. I asked the mechanic if he could get to Amsterdam to which he replied "yes". After 3 or 4 km the tire went flat again. I had to leave the bike abandoned at a DIY center, and return the 3 of us on 2 bikes. Did they check the rim tape or if there was anything left in the rubber like glass????? The truth is that it was a quite complicated experience since there were no buses or help along the way in addition to the explanations to the rental company A-bikes when returning 2 bikes instead of 3. I paid €20 for the repair but I don't think it was done well at all.
