  I stayed in a few hostels in Amsterdam and I think this is one of the best hostels in Amsterdam! Great customer service. Clean pods, good lighting and privacy! Clean bathrooms everyday! The temperature is also very comfortable! The downside is that If you want to get to the Red light district you’ll have to walk about 20-30minutes each way but to me this isn’t a problem as I enjoy to walk!

  First solo trip! I'm usually more of a hotel person, but this was a last-minute trip and I didn’t have the budget for a hotel. I decided to give this place a try, mostly because the bathroom photos looked clean and reassuring—and honestly, I’m so glad I did! It’s a fantastic place to stay. The cabins are spacious, the mattress is super comfortable, and you get your own little storage space. There's a shared lounge area with comfy chairs and coffee, and even though it's a shared setup, you still have plenty of privacy. The shared bathrooms are honestly very upscale—super clean, modern, and roomy. Getting here is easy too: you just take a free ferry from the station (it runs non-stop back and forth), then walk about 15 minutes. The neighborhood is lovely, especially if you walk down to the waterfront—there are some really charming houses around. Bottom line: I totally recommend this place. Five stars. Go for it with your eyes closed! ?

  Recently opened in February 2025. Bathroom and shower facilities were clean and plentiful (8 toilets, 8 sinks and 8 showers). Little storage below the beds for a little backpack and sufficient storage for the larger suitcases. Easy check-in process and access to the place as it's all on the phone. Bedding was comfortable enough and hooks inside your capsule to hang your clothes/towel is well thought of. Light inside the capsule can be dimmed which is a great feature. Strong wifi. Common room/lobby at the front was pleasant with a coffee machine. Staff were absolutely lovely, informative and helpful. It isn't exactly in the city centre. From Amsterdam Central, you have to catch the 24/7 ferry (ride is barely 5 minutes) and then walk about 15 minutes. The area currently has a lot of construction happening and will be good in a couple of years but for now, the walk does seem lengthy (especially if you have a suitcase). You can catch a different ferry (not 24/7) that will take you to a stop only a 5 minute walk from Cabins but that ferry doesn't originate at Amsterdam Central. So if you're taking the train to Amsterdam Central from the airport, your best option is the 24/7 ferry ride with a 15-20 minute walk. There isn't any landscaping done at the front of Cabins however it'll most likely be completed later once the surrounding buildings are constructed.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Absolutely Exceptional Stay! I stayed at Cabins Hotel Amsterdam for 3 nights and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel is incredibly well-designed, modern, and immaculately clean. The cabin-style rooms are cozy yet thoughtfully laid out, making excellent use of space while still feeling comfortable and private. The location is perfect—peaceful, yet within easy reach of the city’s main attractions and public transport. I especially appreciated the quiet surroundings, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring Amsterdam. The staff were outstanding—friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. Their warm hospitality really made me feel at home. Every detail, from the smooth check-in process to the quality amenities and overall atmosphere, was spot-on. I can’t recommend Cabins Hotel enough for anyone looking for a unique, comfortable, and high-quality place to stay in Amsterdam. I would definitely return!

  Surprisingly really good! Needed a space for one night and super good! Staff is great, very flexible and courteous! The whole space smells great, insanely comfortable fresh air and the whole climate and sound feels relaxing. Bathroom and toilet are super clean, towel is fresh and good quality. I was wondering how loud it is in the night and I experienced people very respectful. Also knowing the whole night someone is at the desk feels super save! I would not go here for a long holiday, the surroundings are less sexy - but only 14 min walk to the ferry, 10 minute walk to the next coffee place makes it a really good experience! Only one wish: earplugs in the vending machine and towel rail in the cabin machine would be amazing!
