  I've eaten at Gregory's twice this week. The food is good, with a well-curated selection of ingredients. There aren't many dishes on the menu, but that usually means they focus on fresh products. It's a truly Italian restaurant. The place is welcoming, and the service is fine. I recommend it

  Osteria Mediterranea is hands down my favorite restaurant in the entire Netherlands. This charming boutique spot in Zaandam offers a true Italian fine dining experience. Every dish reflects authenticity, passion, and exceptional quality. The chef is incredibly talented and experienced — you can taste the love and expertise in every bite. From the atmosphere to the service and of course the food, everything is simply perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy real Italian cuisine!

  What a gem in Zaandam. I can see the river from my table, our sever choose all my wife’s dishes (how he knew her favourites???) and the food was great. The rose wine was a perfect pair for our meal!!! See you again soon

  The food is really good and fresh. The people who work there are nice and friendly. We had octopus soup, which was delicious. We also had caprese, which was really fresh and nice. For our second course, we had pasta bolognese and frutti di mare. The pasta is homemade and really tasty. For dessert, we had panna cotta and tiramisu. We'll definitely come back.
