Confirmation of contract start date 2. Explanation of the delay (none provided) 3. Written installation date 4. Compensation for service disruption What I got instead: • Vague copy paste replies • Support agents bouncing me around departments • And the classic: “Please contact a different team” After escalating, I was finally offered a MiFi device, but the signal was weak, and remote work was unreliable. Asking about compensation got me this gem: “No invoice was issued, so there’s nothing to compensate.” Apparently, if KPN doesn’t bill you for the thing they failed to deliver, they believe they owe you nothing. Creative accounting at its finest. ⸻ 🔎 Wider Context: • My neighbor had the same experience so it’s not isolated • KPN’s “Royal” status might suggest high standards, but here’s what I encountered: • No ownership • Poor communication • Zero urgency • A support system that talks in circles ⸻ 📣 For Potential Customers: If you’re considering KPN, ask yourself: Can you tolerate a provider that treats confirmed installation dates as mere suggestions and leaves you guessing about next steps? ⸻ 💬 To KPN: You’re welcome to reply with: “We’ll take your feedback internally.” But unless that feedback results in actual change, it’s just another empty gesture much like the promises I was given for weeks. ⸻ ✅ Final Thought: I finally got connected on 5 June, but it came with weeks of stress, confusion, and complete lack of accountability. We’ve been in a 9 year relationship so far.

    Saturday the 11th of January Extremely disappointing service and experience. I am an existing internet customer. In January, I received a letter at home offering a mobile deal for €22.50/month. I signed up online, but when the delivery arrived, I was asked to present a bank card with an IBAN. This made no sense since I’m already a customer, and they already have all my information. I called the hotline, and they assured me it was fine—I just needed to go to a store where they would make a note to resolve the issue. When I went to the store, I was greeted by two young employees who clearly lacked any understanding of customer service or problem-solving. They informed me they couldn’t do anything because the deal had expired, even though I had placed the order on time two weeks earlier. They seemed completely clueless, with no management or leadership to guide them. Their only solution was to cancel the subscription, which I reluctantly accepted. One of them even mentioned that their job was just to sell. If “selling” means ignoring customers’ issues, perhaps they should consider another career path. If you know how to sell, the first step is to retain the client. Result, I’ll take a plan to another provider and I might change my internet plan Conclusion : do not expect anything from them. Too bad as my experience until now was very good
