  It was such a beautiful experience! The food was always heavenly, the service was warming, you immediately felt at home and safe, thank you for that! The restaurant is very cozy, you feel completely safe and in good hands. we will be back! Thank you for the lovely hug that I was able to take with me at the end. Ps/: The lamb was the best we have eaten so far 🤌🏻

  Unforgettable - after a gorgeous concert, we (2 persons) met yesterday for the first time in real life after being befriended online for quite a while, so we were in celebration mood. Reading the google comments on the welcoming manner of its owner, we decided for LaSqala. We couldn’t have made a better decision. The food was very delicious w/ beautiful sauces and particularly the sweets were outstanding. Cherry on cake was in fact the kind, friendly, attentive manner of the owner who created a great amicable mood, so all guests felt easy & happy. It’s certainly not the cheapest place around, but really, it’s worth every single penny. The place is very tidy and well run. Highly recommended!

  This was the second time I have visited this restaurant with my family and we were absolutely delighted. The food was simply fantastic and the owner was not only incredibly friendly, but also very funny, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant. It's a must for anyone looking for a great culinary experience.

  We had a great dining experience here. All 5 of us really enjoyed the food! We had tapas so different kinds of small dishes. We finished everything and were full to the brim. The owner was also very welcoming and friendly. Everything was very pleasant and we're definitely visiting here again! Thank you and groetjes uit Assen;)
