  Great restaurant on a beautiful spot: in the center of Zwolle next to a square. It's an amazing atmosphere and a great place to eat. The food was okay, for the amount of money I would have liked some more food and the taste was great, but could be better. Doesn't mean that is wasn't a great evening and nice experience, I liked it a lot overall. Would recommend eating here.

  Very nice restaurant with big terrace. Food was delicious and fresh. We had drinks, appetizers, shrimp with fries and weed burger. It was busy and we had to wait for some time for the food, but staff was friendly and service good. Very nice location in the city center.

  During our holiday in the Netherlands we visited Blij in the city of Zwolle. We chose this restaurant because of his location. The restaurant is located in the city center of Zwolle. The building is an old manor house with a very big terrace. When we visited Blij the weather was good and many people were eating and drinking outside. I can advise you to reserve a table when you want to eat here. This was because when we came we needed to eat inside because the terrace was already fully booked. The menu was not very special but good. They have a lot of beers and cocktails on the menu. As an appetizer I took the duck and my wife the triple croquettes. These were not special. As a main dish I took the schnitzel and my wife the satay. Like the appetizer, these were not special. I gave the restaurant 4 stars because the location is good and the dishes are good but not special. But the price quality ratio is good.

  Delicious place to have lunch or dinner! Strongly recommend the traditional Dutch meatball, it savory and flavorful. Staffs are friendly and English menu is available. You might need to make reservations when they are busy. But usually it the weather are nice outdoor tables will be available. Doggy friendly too!! Traveling to Zwolle? You must try Blij

  They forgot my drink order, after we reordeded the forgotten drink and I again confirmed what beer I wanted they asked me if I wanted wine? I said no and confirmed again the beer I wanted. Then they gave me the wrong beer.
