  Last visited March 2025 Second time round....Could well be my regular place to visit once a month while in Zwolle. Able to dine at the bar as I was travelling solo. Service food and drink were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was told the menu changes every month, so it sounds just perfect. Pics updated.

  We had a wonderful evening at l’eglise - they were easily able to accommodate us eating outside on a lovely evening. The food was fantastic and really inventive - and we enjoyed the extra little courses they give you when eating the set menu. The gap between some courses sometimes felt a little long - we were happy to have a leisurely dinner and not be rushed, but if you’re hungry/in a rush maybe bear that in mind! They were so lovely to my partner who was celebrating his birthday and even gave us some little chocolates to leave with. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting Zwolle - for the quality of food and experience, it is very well priced vs some rather expensive restaurants in the city!

  Last night I had dinner with my wife at Restaurant L'église in Zwolle, and it was, in a word, fantastic. From the moment we walked in, everything was just right: super friendly welcome, beautiful, quiet atmosphere and an interior that is stylish without feeling stiff. We started with a nice glass of cava, a good choice to start the evening. Then we opted for the 5-course menu with wine arrangement without red wines. Every course was beautiful and tasted really great - beautiful combinations of French basics with Japanese and South American influences here and there. Not too heavy, just right. The wines matched the dishes perfectly. Many beautiful white wines, especially the selection from Chile and Argentina really stood out positively. You notice that a lot of attention was paid to the combinations, everything flowed together beautifully. At the end we had the cheese board – definitely recommended. Nice selection of cheeses, well heated and accompanied by homemade garnishes. A really nice ending. We went home very satisfied. The whole evening felt relaxed and completely taken care of. The service is attentive without you having the feeling that they are constantly running around your table. Everything just works here. We enjoyed it immensely and will definitely return. Highly recommended if you want a really good and relaxed evening of dining out in Zwolle. Keep an eye on this restaurant!

  Fine dining op hoog niveau met perfecte service with a smile. De chef en zijn partner ontvangen je in een mooie ambiance waar de open keuken goed zicht biedt op de realisatie van zijn gerechten. Die worden met zorg, in alle rust, voorbereid voor de gast. Die wijn adviezen zijn spot on! Hier komen smaak, presentatie en beleving heel mooi samen. Echt iets om voor om te rijden. Reserveren is wel echt nodig, hoewel voor de vroege eters vaak nog wel een plek op het bankje voor de deur of terras te vinden is. De steak met een vleugje Zwolse mosterd was zo lekker dat ik hem vergeten ben te fotograferen.
