  The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with a stylish and elegant design. The staff were extremely polite and professional, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and classy stay.

  This hotel needs some adjustments. Check-in was good and organized, friendly girl at the reception, but the room was filthy especially the shower a few broken sockets on the wall and the bed was not comfortable at all. We went to a party, not far from the hotel and went back around midnight where we were welcomed, by not so friendly night Porter. He almost didn’t believe us that we stayed at the hotel. After showing our door pass and room number he kind of believed us. He didn’t even say good night or welcome but open the front door and being grumpy and slam it on our faces almost. It’s a nice location, But there won’t be a next time. For €164 per night is pretty expensive for a hotel like this. Hopefully they will change the hotel and improve it.

  absolutely horrendous service at the reception. the receptionist was a young nosy man who had no idea what he was doing. Firstly they changed what rooms we booked without letting us know why and then after that they gave us a room that was under construction which was completely unfathomable. They could not give us anything in return for all the problems that THEY caused. Absolutely horrendous experience i would never come back jere in my entire.

  This hotel deservedly earns a 2/5 rating due to a pervasive negative attitude. The staff interaction feels adversarial, treating guests with suspicion rather than hospitality. This lack of warmth significantly detracts from the stay, making simple requests or interactions feel like an inconvenience. An unwelcoming atmosphere defined the experience.

  We had a deeply distressing experience at Campanile Zwolle. After returning late at night from a show at Hedon as artists, we entered our assigned room—only to find it already occupied by another guest. The moment we opened the door, the terrified guest screamed and, in her panic, tried to attack us, thinking she was being attacked herself. It was an absolutely chaotic and traumatizing encounter for everyone involved. We immediately went to the reception to resolve the issue, but the staff was unhelpful and disorganized. We were left waiting in the lobby forever while the receptionist slowly checked for another room, also looking clueless (and without saying any excuse nor explanation). This was especially unacceptable at that late hour of the night. We eventually got to a new room at 2:45 AM, but the stress and unease lingered all night. To make matters worse, the hotel never followed up, never apologized adequately, and refused to offer any compensation at the time or afterward. Now, months later, we reached out again since the artist will be performing nearby soon, and Campanile refused to provide even a single complimentary night as an apology, claiming it was "too late." The complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability from this hotel is staggering. Campanile’s policies seem cheap and clueless, and they clearly have no regard for their guests’ safety or comfort. If you value a safe, stress-free stay, avoid this place at all costs.
