  This place is heaven. The rooms are spacious. The views are beyond compare. From your porch(very comfortable) you can watch the comings and goings of the harbor with beautiful gardens surrounding the building. Wonderful restaurants within easy walking distance. But best of all the owners and staff make you feel like family. I had a bad knee and they brought from their home beach chairs with a foot rest for our use doing our stay. Can’t wait to return!!

  Geweldige locatie, midden in het hart van een charmante baai. Kamers zijn zeer schoon en ruim. Het terras is groot en voorzien van comfortabel meubilair om te zitten en te ontspannen en te genieten van een prachtig uitzicht. De boeking verliep erg soepel en de gastheer is erg vriendelijk en reageert snel om aan alle mogelijke verzoeken te voldoen.

  Mijn man en ik hebben dit hotel voor meerdere nachten geboekt, maar het duurde slechts één nacht. Het uitzicht was geweldig, maar we checkten zo snel mogelijk uit vanwege geen warm water, geen airconditioning, schermen met gaten die overmatige muggen veroorzaakten, en de ontdekking van een dier ter grootte van een koffieboon dat op een van de bedden viel. Het viel mij op dat de meeste goede recensies meer dan een jaar geleden waren. Dit pand heeft zoveel potentieel als de eigenaren een aantal upgrades en renovaties aan deze charmante locatie zouden investeren.

  We booked rooms 3 months in advance anticipating a wonderful stay. Much to our dismay, a member of our party suffered a stroke and everything had to be cancelled a month prior to the reservation. I wrote several times to note this and the manager's response could be summarized as "tough luck." Kept the deposit. In 30 years of international travel, I have met so many wonderful people. Apparently, the people at Gingerbread might not be.

  If I could give them zero stars I would. The views from the property are truly breathtaking. However, the rooms are antiquated and not properly maintained. Upon arrival the bathroom in my room had mildew everywhere. The room was filled with mosquitoes, centipedes and lizards. The water was not hot everyday, one-day I didn’t even have water for about an hour. The hotel even put torn sheets on the bed. The cleaning staff did not show up everyday and operated in a truly unprofessional manner.
