  Hotel is located across the train station, where you can take train to Amsterdam every 15 minutes. Each journey lasts around 25 minutes and daily ticket costs 12€ which is very affordable. Rooms are not particuarly clean, but well equipped with old furniture and things guests usually need during their stay. Staff was nice and friendly and there is a huge parking lot for guests. Still location is main advantage of this hotel and its also very affordable taking in consideration that prices around Amsterdam tend to be significantly higher than other tourist destinations.

  Straightforward rooms that are clean and simple. However our room had a broken safe and a broken electrical outlet by the bed that couldn't be repaired during our stay so some attention to detail is lacking. Big TV in the room with wide channel choice although a fair few did not work. We did not use the restaurant but appreciated the bar area and pool table. Superb location for Bussum Zuid station and the noise from the trains is not a problem. Overall a decent stay with some rough edges.

  I spent 43 days in Bastion Bussum Zuid. The hotel was visited for the second time. The staff was polite and the hotel was good. I would especially like to thank Marty, Debbie and Stella. Thank you for your support; I had a great visit.

  Great Place with Amazing People! It is Well located as you can reach the Main destinations with the Train infront of the Hotel. The rooms are BIG and very clean and were cleaned each day. The best Part: is the STAFF EVERYBODY was smiling, helping out with all the questions. I was Late for breakfast the last Morning and they prepared a Wohle meal for me Even with a Omelette !! Special thanks again to the lovely Stella! I will come back for sure, thank you!

  I stayed for 4 nights at his hotel.The staff were very friendly and professional and went out of their ways be helpful.My room was clean and comfortable.I was unable to use the coffee machine in the room,so was invited to use the restaurant machine free. It's position next to the station is perfect for quick and easy connection to Amsterdam. I will certainly use this hotel again and recommend it to others Kevin
