This hotel is an absolute must. The location could not be more perfect. You can stop in and use the bathroom drop things off at your room and your steps away from the museum district modern bathrooms. I had one inside room that was very small but nice. Next time third floor front window brand new elevator. They let me check in early. It was a fantastic experience. Absolutely will be back. The first picture is a view out my window.

It is a mixed bag with this place. Had a nightmare to start with but the rooms are nice and it is in a good location. We booked 1 room but had 2 confirmations. I checked it out and they said there was 2 rooms booked but cancelled one straight away without issue. Good job I saw it otherwise we would have ended up having the bill for 2 rooms come off the card. They close at 6pm and we were checking in after, they sent the instructions to get into the room (key is in a safe). They sent us the details for the wrong safe, so when we opened it, it was empty. Had to call the emergency number and speak to someone in Miami to resolve the issue. They billed us for the tourist tax twice so had to get that refunded. then we had issues with the room cards not working. It is honestly a very frustrating experience. The staff are all really nice. Friendly and do sort the problems out, but there are just soo many problems and basic ones at that. The room is good, bathroom very nice and the bed is comfy. Shame we just had some many logistical issues with the stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Amsterdam! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist, who was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The room was very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. The bathroom was absolutely stunning — modern, spacious, and spotless, with perfect plumbing and excellent water pressure. Everything worked flawlessly. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended! The only downside was that there was no window in the room.

We booked this hotel as it looked nice and was a very reasonable price for the area it was in. It’s located opposite the Rijksmuseum and for the night was cheaper than some hostels in Amsterdam. Our room was on the lower ground floor and was a small, yet clean and well built space-which was all we needed for our stay. The bed was comfy, the shower pressure was perfect and the room itself was well looked after. The digital key system was very clever and felt secure, although I did worry what might happen if my phone battery ran out when I was out and about when no one was at reception. Luckily it wasn’t an issue! The only two things I could pick a fault with was the very steep steps to the floor, although there was a lift, it seemed inconvenient to get in the lift to go down one floor so it wasn’t really a problem. The other was that the room itself with being below ground had no windows. Again, this was fine for our stay, but had we stayed a little bit longer it might have bothered us. All in all we were really happy with our stay and we would definitely recommend!

I sincerely regret booking here. I travel a lot and do my research - going into it I knew the rooms were basically a closet, but I still feel like I was misled. I am not sure how some of these rooms are even legally permitted in something calling itself a hotel. The 'windows' beside my bed open up to view the cafe/reception desk, the glass elevator, and the back entrance/staircase. Which means if my windows are open anyone entering or exiting the hotel, using the lone elevator or staircase, or even buying something in the cafe can see me laying in my bed and make eye contact with me while I'm trying to sleep. It's practically something out of a comedy. Of course I can close my 'window' curtains, but that does not stop the noise from people standing a few feet from your face talking as they come home drunk at 1am, or the hotel staff loudly pushing cleaning carts into the elevator at 6:30am. It was not possible to sleep undisturbed outside of 1am-6am in the room I was given. Aside from this, the bathroom sink was plugged, and bugs were a regular sight in the room and on the bed sheets. I realize insects are an unavoidable reality on the ground level, but they were sighted a little too frequently - basically every time I came into the room after having the lights off for a few hours. I (perhaps incorrectly) assume they roam more freely when it's not bright in the room, so the second night I slept with the light on to try to deter them from crawling on me in my sleep. It wasn't a problem because I wasn't really able to sleep due to the noise anyway. I should also note that the lighting in the rooms is extremely dim. The 'hotel' also shuts in the evening without staff after I think 6pm, and if something goes wrong you have to try to contact the hotel's other location in Miami. They also turned my room key off at 10:15am so I had to get a new key from the front desk to grab my bag after breakfast before the 11am checkout. The staff were perfectly nice, and most of these problems aren't really on them. But I genuinely feel like I was defrauded by booking here and I sincerely regret not paying a little bit more to book somewhere else.
