  SCAMMERS! Don't trust this store and especially do not trust a technician called Piete. They quoted me in writing 250 euros for ordering parts plus 30 euro for montage. I ordered the parts myself (on sale for 68 euros) and brought it to them for repair. Despite the fact that they had provided a quote in writing for montage costs of 30 euros, they then increased their quote to 99 euros claiming additional costs. Instead of stating that a mistake took place, they said that I am not allowed to order my own parts because that is like going to a restaurant with my own food. Two competitors offered to do the montage for a lower price, which indicates that the Budget Fietsenhuis quote was indeed excessive. They way they scam people is as follows: They try to convince you that a particular part of your bike needs replacement. Then they find an expensive part that they claim they order e.g. for 250 euros. In reality, they do not order the 250 euro part, but instead use old parts / used parts for the repair which cost far less e.g. 30-50 euros. You pay them 250 euros thinking that the installed part is new, and they pocket the price difference 250-50=200 euros, making essentially a huge commission on the customers back for every item they order. This profiteeting practice is a financial scam, which points to the fact that since charges are falsified, there is also tax fraud and money laundering involved in terms of declaring the unlawfully earned profits to the Belastingdienst. In my case, they were clearly very upset because I outsmarted them and did not allow them to scam me. Fun fact: Upon leaving the store I exclaimed 'I think that you are thieves' and a technician (with short blonde curly hair) replied quietly while laughing 'Yes we are!', essentially admitting that they are scammers! Again, do not trust this store. Instead, report them directly to the Belastingdienst!

  I got my first bike here. They were so kind and helped me a lot with my questions. They suggested a few models for my needs, after I've tried them, picked one. We did visual inspection together, and found a few minor issues. They repaired all and did a generic maintenance. The guys are really kind and helpful, thanks for everything. So far so good 😇 If i need any assistance with the bike later, I hope I will experience the same approach 😇
