  This company are thieves! If you take the bike, for delivery, first you must pay one month abroad. After if you take the bike before the month start (ex: for 11 days they charged me 100€ more). On 20 of February I cancelled my subscription. After 11 days again they send me that I must pay the whole month again. Tottaly I spend 420€ for one month. Of course the bike that they gave me was almost broken. All the bikes are almost broken. They never say about the secret charges. Keep away

  In a nutshell if you are a: short term student or can’t be bothered to fix your bike that you break too often, Swapfiets is the idea for you. Otherwise go to Maarktplatz and buy a second hand bike. It has its upsides: anything wrong on the bike and just go to the store and get a new one. Swapfiets never get stolen (at least I haven’t heard of any). It’s convenient because it’s rented. Otherwise: it’s kinda pricey for what you’re getting, the employees in this location have proven to be unhelpful and refused to change a bike that was just given back after I insisted the breaks weren’t working properly. You can’t turn the light off so it’s always a little more difficult than it should be to pedal. Great idea, bad company ideology. Oh and tip there is a student repair shop that’s cheap and the sustainability hub has bike repair tools for students.
