RUN!!!!! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!! They are not an insurance provider, rather, a shill for Allianz. We paid out of pocket for months only to have our claim denied when our bike was stolen.. get this.. because we lost a pair of keys and made a new set so my husband and I would each have one. The claims process is an absolute nightmare. After weeks of delaying and running us around we’re out 5,000 euro because we decided to go with this fraudulent scheme - the reason they denied us; we “didn’t call to inform them that we’d made a new set of keys” months prior. I’ve heard other horror stories about clients being denied based on their bike “being stolen at night”, another was denied bc the “owners daughter was driving it when it was stolen”. Read the other “5 Star” reviews first. None of them speak about actually having to use their insurance. Only that getting insurance and paying is easy. WAIT UNTIL THEY NEED TO USE IT! They will make up anything to get out of honoring their obligation. We’re in the process of litigating. Don’t get yourself into the same situation. RUN!!!!! (Edit: IN RESPONSE TO THE COMPANIES REPLY:) This is simply a lie. When we purchased the bike we received TWO sets of keys. We lost one set, and had it replaced. When the bike was stolen we submitted one copy of the keys, and one original copy. So they can indeed verify that the bike was locked. We also have a dozen photos of the bike "locked". The fabrications made in their reply are just another example of the lengths they're willing to go in order to not pay out their on their obligations.

Bought a new e-Bike wanted to insure it. Via a simple request on the PC in the bicycle shop filling in my details very quickly and easily got my new bike insured on good terms at a reasonable price. Follow up by insurance company next day with confirmation very happy with the provided service and product

FietsZeker helped me with a hit and run done to my bicycle. The process was fast and fluid, and I really didn't have to do much. I am foreign and honestly not used to such great service. Hopefully I won't have to claim again, but really it was painless and I really appreciate that. Recommend especially to foreigners who might be confused as to which company to go with!

Everything is in Dutch, when I asked for an English version of their information pamphlet, I was told that was not possible. I understand I am in The Netherlands, but you would think they would be able to accommodate non-Dutch speaking clients, considering how much I am paying for insurance. Update from 2 to 4 stars: I received a very professional phone call from a FietaZaker Rep and everything I had questions about was explained to me. They still do not have an English version of the pamphlet, but they said they are working on it.

Updated review: Changing from 2 stars to 5 stars, as it appears the miscommunication was with the shop, not FietsZeker. The insurance application was actually approved very quickly, however the directions from the bike shop were not clear.
