They deliver excuses, not bikes Bought a bike here on June 8 thinking I’d actually get a bike. Silly me. First they promised delivery in week 25, then week 26, then week 28. Maybe next time they’ll deliver it by snail mai - at least that’s consistent. After pushing and waiting forever, the bike finally arrived. But by then we had completely lost confidence in this company and decided to return it. Standard and perfectly within our legal right. We told them on July 3. They promised to pick it up. I’m still here staring at the bike like it’s a hostage in my hallway. Customer service pops up now and then to say “Sorry!” and then disappears again like a ghost. Sweet words, zero action. So if you love paying upfront for stress, excuses and watching your money vanish into a black hole of false promises, this is the shop for you. If you want an actual bike and real customer service, do yourself a favor and buy anywhere else.

Rude staff. I went there a couple of times to try out the bike I was interested in. Most of the staff members were friendly, but the guy at the counter had no intention of talking or explaining anything. I might have been asking some dumb questions, but it was important for me to understand the differences in bike power levels. I really liked the bike and was ready to buy it, but I walked away because of one person's attitude. Ironically, I found the same bike for a cheaper price the following week. I could have bought it right then and there if the guy at the counter had treated me properly. Now I’m looking to buy a bakfiets, but I’m not giving them my business. First, train your staff on how to treat customers. Attaching a picture of the bike I bought elsewhere :)

Customer service at this shop is honestly a joke. On a Thursday, they told me the bike was ready and could be shipped over the weekend — no confirmation, no coordination — and of course, nothing happened. Meanwhile, they launched a sale. Since the bike hadn’t even been shipped yet, I asked if they could apply the discount. Instead of doing the sensible thing, they offered me a free ring lock worth €49… instead of the €200 discount now available. That’s how you lose a customer that is spending €2500. Not a smart way of doing business — but hey, it’s not my company. Update: besides the cancellation, they are still trying to get the bike to me. 4 emails to follow up on this, they registered the bike insurance and they schedule delivery UNBELIEVABLE! STAY AWAY!

Absolutely terrible experience at this place. If you’re considering buying a bike here—just don't. We needed an e-bike urgently due to our only e-bike being stolen, with my wife pregnant on week 32+ with a toddler of less than a year and a half. The shop initially misled me about the battery specs of an outlet bike to push me into buying a new one. After deciding on a new bike, they canceled my order without informing me, reassigned me the outlet bike at full price, and repeatedly failed to update me. I had to call daily and visit multiple times just to get basic information. The delivery was significantly delayed, and even when the bike was "ready," they didn’t notify us because a free promotional light was missing! Because of all this stress and the lack of a proper bike, my wife experienced multiple back issues and had to visit the doctor several times while we waited, I needed to take hours of work just to be able to take our daughter to the kindergarden as my wife couldn't alone. The situation dragged on for weeks, purchase was made 22 of February and only on March 26, was the bike finally completed with the missing light—an unacceptable delay for such an urgent purchase. Every time there was an issue, the salesperson who caused it was the only one I was allowed to talk to—classic case of dodging responsibility. Their compensation offer? A laughable €100 discount on a €5,000+ purchase for all the frustration. This is not just a bad shop; it’s one that shows no regard for its customers. If you value honesty, good service, and basic communication, avoid this place at all costs.

I bought a new e-bike in Sept 2024 from the Utrecht store and received it in Oct 2024. but problems started within the first week. In under two months, the bike had several issues, and became unusable. After a long wait and poor communication, it was sent for repair, only for it to have the same issues again and for them to later claim there was no record of the repair on their system! The same issues returned multiple times, even after "professional" repairs. Clearly a defective product was sold to me and very disappointing service. I do not recommend buying from them.
